Evaluation and Treatment Sessions:
I see adults for consultation, and medication management. I recommend you have a separate psychotherapist if you are looking for psychotherapy sessions.
Treatment Focus:
I specialize in Adult ADD/ADHD, with an emphasis on teaching you skills to make the medication most effective at the lowest dosage. This not only involves medication choice and dose selection, but also teaching you skills to avoid tolerance and dependence. Many patients are not aware of the many factors involved in taking stimulants, including the role of different brands of generics vs name brands, dosing, intervals and models of taking the medication safely.
I also focus on positive psychiatry, well-being, mindfulness, meaning, authenticity and achieving your goals in college, in your career, and in your relationships. You are capable of being anything you want…and you are enough just as you are.
